SENIOR COMPETITIVE AND HIGH PERFORMACE
Senior Competitive Rowing takes place primarily in the mornings with approximately 6 rows per week. It is intended for athletes ages 18 - 27 who are interested in competing provincially and nationally. The KRC has a long standing record of high level success winning National and Provincial Championships.
High Performance Rowing takes place 6 days a week with Sundays off beginning immediately Rowers are expected to train each morning and 3 afternoons each week.
MASTER COMPETITIVE
The Masters program is for athletes age 27 and older who are interested in competing across the province. We recognize that the majority of rowers in this category are also committed to family and work schedules.
You do not need experience to be a Masters rower, just a good work ethic and passion for competition. There are several ways to be involved in rowing and begin competing even if you have never rowed before.
In addition, the 2010 World Masters Championships is coming to Canada and as such, the KRC is looking for interested athletes.
